Our team

 Tadeusz Pietrucha. Founder and CEO of Bio-Tech Consulting Ltd, PhD, Professor at the Medical University of Lodz. In 1998 founded the first Polish biotech Web Portal devoted to biotechnology: Biotechnologia.pl. He is the originator of BioForum, science and business related conferences taking place since the year 2000, which were rebranded to Biotechnology and Biobusiness Fare (Central European Forum of Biotechnology and Innovative Bioeconomy: www.cebioforum.com). He is also the originator of Beauty Innovations (www.beautyinnovations.pl). He is a graduate of the Master of Science in Science and Technology Commercialization - MSSTC (Postgraduate School of Science and Technology Commercialization) at the University of Łódź and Texas University of Austin. He is also a graduate of the Strategic Business Planning for the Development of Enterprises in the European Environment at the Warsaw School of Economics.

He is the cofounder of the biotech company Mabion SA (2007), and cofounder of  the companies Bio-Tech Invest Ltd. (founded 2010) and Bio-Tech Media (founded 2012). He is the author and coauthor of over 50 research papers, several review articles, patents and scientific essays. He specializes in the R&D project commercialization potential assessment and valuation of biotech projects and companies.

 Edyta Wodzinska, project manager. Graduate of the Biotechnology Faculty of the Technical  University of Łódź. Manager Mini MBA degree at the University of Łódź. She is a member of our team since 2009. 

 Justyna Grzelak. Project manager. Graduated in 2008 with M.Sc. in biotechnology at the University of Lodz. Her Master Thesis was conducted both at the University of Lodz and Helmholtz Centre of Environmental Research in Leipzig (Germany). She was granted twice from the Erasmus Life Learning programme: Erasmus Student Exchange (in Holland) and Erasmus Practical Training (in Germany). In 2009/2010 She was awarded with a 1-year research stay in Germany from the German DBU Foundation. 

In Bio-Tech Consulting she is responsible for elaboration of bio-business information  and coordinates  BioForum project.

 Ewelina Przybyłek. With BioTech Consulting since 2011, Ewelina Przybyłek heads the sales department of the company. Prior to joining BioTech Consulting, she worked in sales departments and customer service field  occupying sales representative positions. Ewelina graduated from Medical University of Lodz.

 Mateusz Wołkowicz. He holds a Masters degree in medical biotechnology from the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences and Postgraduate Training of the Medical University of Lodz. During his undergraduate as well as graduate studies, his research interests included molecular basis of cancer development and progression. Currently, his research interests include drug resistance in cancer therapy. Mateusz is the originator and co-founder of Students Business Club and Business Knowledge Club, both are student organizations at the Medical University of Lodz which gather students with interests in entrepreneurship. It should be emphasized that above mentioned clubs are first among such student initiatives at Polish medical universities.

In Bio-Tech Consulting he is responsible for identification of R&D projects with high application potential in the healthcare, pharma and biotechnology. Moreover, Mateusz is a co-founder of CE R&D BioBase - the biggest database of R&D projects from life sciences in Central Europe. His main interests are assessment of commercial potential as well as the market for innovative R&D projects. With Bio-Tech Consulting since 2012.

Małgorzata Tejchman, office manager. She is a part of our team since 2007. Graduate of Finance and Accounting in the Salesian University of Economics and Management in Łódź. She is the office manager, responsible for HR.
